Dr. Cora started her professional education at the University of Puerto Rico, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences (B.S.) while simultaneously training with the Army ROTC (Reserves Officer Training Course) program. Following graduation, she was commissioned in the Army as a Medical Services Corps (MSC) officer and that brought her for the first time to San Antonio’s Fort Sam Houston, to complete the Officer Basic Course (OBC). She immediately fell in love with the charm and beauty of the beloved “military city”. She honorably served for a total of 7 years between active duty and reserves.
In her 20’s she endured a chronic hormonal imbalance that numerous healthcare providers failed to diagnose and therefore treat properly. This led her to seek holistic approaches including chiropractic care with functional medicine and neurology. After finding the right care, she regained optimal health. Inspired by her journey, she pursued an education in chiropractic and graduated in 2015 from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia.
Since returning to San Antonio, Dr. Cora has worked in integrative clinics, led physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) departments, and served an abundance of patients ranging from routine care, during pregnancy and others with complex neurological conditions.
Dr. Cora is now happy to serve at a boutique level to provide the best personalized care to her patients, supporting them in their health journeys, and connecting them to other providers as necessary.
